Welcome to Stokes Birds At Home, the new national public television series on attracting birds and birdwatching, created and hosted by America's most popular bird authorities, Don and Lillian Stokes. The series began with Season One, 13 half-hour episodes, in 2000. Season Two's brand new 13 episodes will begin January-Spring 2001.

Each lively half-hour program in the series captures the fun, excitement, and spontaneity of this enormously popular pastime. From "how-to" to "how-come," the series will be a big hit with both the novice and experienced bird watcher. Hosts Don and Lillian give expert advice on how to attract birds, as well as great birding tips. From Arizona to Maine and Florida to Minnesota, Don and Lillian travel to locales across the country for special birding events and to introduce viewers to everyday people who are passionate about their hobby. Also featured are a weekly challenge in which viewers are asked to identify a "mystery bird" and a "time-out-to-watch" moment that captures the beauty of birds accompanied by natural sounds.
